We have been trying to get to parts of the city that we haven’t been to yet on our weekends. This past adventure took us to Chinatown for the Mid Autumn Festival.
Little man loved the trip in the backpack carrier and as you can tell, was pretty excited to get in it.
The walk was about 20 minutes from our place at the marina but it was a nice day with a great breeze.
All of the streets were decorated with “lanterns” for the festival. Cameron loved the color.
Walking around the back streets in Chinatown where most of the pop up shops are located.
Bee Cheng Hiang. The absolute BEST find in Singapore. They smoke pork and beef and have all kids of sweet to spicy variants of “jerky”. It isn’t like the dried jerky in the US, it is moist, juicy, and flavorful. Needless to say, it may be my favorite snack yet.
